A viral video revealed Mehul Choksi’s comprehensive plan, which he allegedly utilized to escape his extradition to India from Antigua and Barbuda.

Reportedly, just weeks after Choksi was seen roaming the streets of Belgium, a video struck social media explaining his infamous “Gone Missing Agenda” in May 2021.

The engaging animated video, which was over 20 minutes long, delved into the details of the incident, exploring the beginning to the end of the entire event.

Explaining all the bits & pieces supported by the information available in the public domain, the video showcased how Mehul Choksi used tourists as the bait to portray that he went missing instead of being slapped as absconded.

The video started with information about the whopping USD 2 billion scam that he contrived with the help of his Nephew Nirav Modi, and then both escaped from India.

The Entire Story

According to the video, he orchestrated the plotting by contacting two Jamaican transporters, Paul Stephane Emmanuel and Leonard Anthony Cole.

He hired the Jamaicans to transport him to Cuba- a country that has no extradition treaty with India where he would fake his kidnapping. So, he asked them to hire a boat for his ride to Cuba.

In addition to that, the video revealed that he also lured an innocent Hungarian tourist, for his kidnapping plot. He portrayed himself as Raj in front of the tourist and gifted her a diamond necklace to get information regarding her whereabouts. He also made the tourist rent a villa with a jetty attached by saying he would ride her on the ferry in Jolly Harbour.

Mehul Choksi was scheduled to leave Antigua for Cuba on May 24, 2021, but he changed the plans after tourist said that she was postponing her visit for May 23, 2021.

Following this, he immediately called Jamaican transporters and changed their plans of leaving on May 23, 2021. When a tourist left her house, Choksi suspiciously hid in the rented villa and instructed the driver to park the car in front of her house the following day.

The video showed how Mehul Choksi got injured by slipping from the stairs in her house and still left for Cuba in the morning with a bruise near his eyes and a cut on his finger. Upon boarding the plane the transporters curious about his injuries asked him how it happened, with Choksi giving so specific answer.

In the middle of his journey, he received a call on his satellite phone cautioning him about something suspicious in Cuba. Soon after the call, Choksi asked his transporters and changed his path to Dominica.

After reaching Dominica, he was arrested by the Dominican police, who identified him as an “Indian fugitive” and took him into custody.

In the video, it was outlined that he, along with his brother Chetan Chinubhai Choksi, bribed police officials in Antigua and Barbuda to exaggerate his kidnapping plot and manipulate the evidence.

The video revealed how they bribed several prominent officials, including Antiguan inspector Adonis Henry and the opposition leader in Dominica- Lennox Linton, to escape extradition to India.

Another major highlight of the video was satellite images showing that Jolly Harbour is a gated community protected by hundreds of CCTV cameras. However, no footage showcased that Mehul Choksi was forcefully removed.

He also hired a comprehensive team of Lawyers and started surfacing a narrative of kidnapping to escape the legal proceedings. The video outlined how Mehul Choksi smartly plotted the kidnapping narrative and scammed the people in India and Antigua and Barbuda.
