PM Terrance Drew shares update on water situation in Cayon Community

The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to share an update on the country’s water situation. It is important to note that the Cayon Community of St Kitts, the parliamentary constituency of St Kitts and Nevis, is currently experiencing a water shortage crisis. The Prime Minister announced that they are working on increasing the water capacity of the community to combat the crisis in the community.

The Prime Minister shared that the water crisis in the community has been present for several years. The community members have been faced with this situation for most of the previous years. The prime minister stated that his team and administration are committed to resolving the issue.

Accordingly, Dr Terrance Drew took to his social media account to share that the administration has entered into a contract with BEAD LLC to begin drilling in Cayon. Drilling a well in the community will go a long way in addressing the country’s water issues. The prime minister entered the arena of Politics for almost a decade.

Ever since, he has remained committed to addressing the issues and problems that the people of his community face. The initiative of contracting a drilling company goes a long way in meeting that commitment.

The prime minister stated that During the last decade of visiting and getting to know the good people of Cayon and Cayon as a community, Dr Terrance Drew discovered that one of the major issues affecting the people is the availability of potable water.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew committed that I would move as quickly as possible to resolve this issue if elected. As pledged Your Government is working to address the water situation in Cayon and surrounding communities swiftly. The Prime Minister stated that his administration has started the work to address the issue even though they have been in the office only for less than a year.
