St Kitts: Minister of Creative Economies, Cooperatives, et al., Samal Duggins extended his congratulations to Old Road Rum for winning two silver medals at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC) 2024.
The Old Road Rum was firstly awarded in the category under Design & Packaging Awards for New Brand Launch. The judges recognized the creativity, innovation, and relevance of Old Road Rum’s bottle design to its specific and targeted market.
The second award was presented in the Tasting Awards category for Aged 11 Years Old and Over. This achievement is a testament of the exceptional quality and taste of their Rum.
Minister Samal Duggins also honoured the Managing Director of the Rum Company and his partners for their success and achievements.
Duggins also shared glimpses of him with the M.D. of the Rum Company and noted, “Kudos to Jack Widdowson, Managing Director of Old Road Rum Company, and his incredible team for these remarkable achievements! Here’s to many more successes.”
The Old Road Rum Company also took their official Facebook account to extend gratitude to the world and to express the honour to be a winner at the ISC 2024.

Notably, the International Spirits Challenge is the most authoritative, respected and influential spirits competition in the world. And the 2024 edition of the International Spirits Challenge has been the biggest year yet with the judges tasting over 1000 whiskies.
Significantly, the International Spirits Challenge Annual Awards Dinner & 2024 Winner’s Tasting is scheduled to take place in London, on Thursday, September 26, 2024. The tickets for the dinner have also been made available on InSpiritsChal.
