Jahzara Claxton is selected for the West Indies Senior Women’s Cricket Team. The nineteen-year-old player is the first St Kitts and Nevis cricket player to be included in the team. The young cricketer had represented the West Indies U19 team at the Women’s U-19 World Cup earlier this year.
Jahzara Claxton will soon make her international debut in England. The West Indies Senior Women’s Cricket squad was announced by Cricket west Indies on Tuesday, May 13.
This team will play against England during the white-ball tour. As per the squad details, Hayley Matthews will continue playing as the team’s captain, and Shemaine Campbelle as the vice-captain. The team is scheduled to play three T20Is and three ODIs between May 21 and June 8, 2025.
