The book of condolences has been opened for the third and former Governor General of St Kitts and Nevis, Edmund Lawrence. The members of the administration and people of the country have gone ahead and signed the book of condolences. 

The current governor general of St Kitts and Nevis, Dame Marcella Liburd and Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that the members of the community honor and respect for the former Governor General of the country. As such, several people have already signed the book of condolences and more are expected to come in the next few days. 

The officials have shared that .the signed the book of condolences ahead of his departure to New York for the United Nations General Assembly. The Prime Minister also shared that the people of the island nation are also invited to pay their tributes. 

The people can visit the headquarters for the signing of the book of condolences as they paid tribute to the legacy of the third governor generation of the country. The formal funeral arrangements for the day have not been announced as of yet. 

The third governor General of the country at the age of ninety three after dedicating a good chunk of his life to the service of the country. The other members of the government will also be visiting the government headquarters to pay tribute to the national. 

He is survived by his wife and children who continue to mourn him  and honor his life and legacy. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shared his heartfelt condolences on the death of the  governor general who served as the third in his position under his own tenure as the second Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis from 2013 to 2015.
