The Island of St Kitts has been featured in the World’s largest and the best Caribbean travel-based publication, Caribbean Journal, earlier on Monday. The article by the publication entitled, ‘The Island of St Kitts Is Hot Right Now — And Travelers Are Flocking.’

The article emphasizes the diversified nature and the authenticity of the island of St Kitts and Nevis, which makes it a perfect and the hottest destination to explore, among the visitors worldwide. It also appreciates the beauty of luxury resorts, vibrant rainforests, centuries-old distilleries, uncrowded beaches and the Caribbean’s premier farm-to-table movement.

Further, it also highlighted the island’s achievement in the Tourism sector which boasted over 133,000 stayover visitors in 2023 and the brand new launch of JetBlue Airways’ first-ever flights to St Kitts’ Robert L Bradshaw International Airport.

As per the Caribbean Journal, these achievements helped the island as an increasingly hot stop for sophisticated travellers and solidified the tourism sector of the nation. Visitors worldwide are attracted and drawn to St Kitts’ unique blend of history, culture, natural beauty and luxury, including the Brimstone Hill, lazing in the pool at the Park Hyatt St Kitts or hiking the foothills of the Mount Liamuiga volcano.

Dr Denzil Douglas- the Minister of Foreign Affairs in St Kitts and Nevis extended his delight on this significant achievement. He also lauded the efforts and contributions of Marsha Henderson, the Minister of Tourism of St Kitts to upgrade and enhance the sector.

“The Island of St. Kitts is Hot right now….Travelers are flocking, An article in the Caribbean Journal. Hon Marsha is doing something Right!!” Minister Douglas noted on his official Facebook post.

The Ministry of Tourism in St Kitts was also honoured and pleased on touching this prestigeous milestone. “We are very pleased to share a recent article by Caribbean Journal entitled The Island of St. Kitts Is Hot Right Now — And Travelers Are Flocking,” it noted.

The article talks about the the destination’s authenticity and resilience as it punches above its weight within the tourism industry.
