St Kitts and Nevis welcomed seven International flights to its grounds on Saturday afternoon. These flights reached at the Robert L. Bradshaw Int’l Airport, carrying thousands of passengers.
Upon the arrival of these flights, Dr Denzil Douglas, the former Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis extended a warm welcome. He shared some glimpses of the birds landing at the ports of the Island.
In a social media post, earlier on Sunday, he announced the arrival and noted, “Started with a VISION @ RLB International, On Saturday 17th February, a total of 7 international flights were on the ground at the same time this afternoon @ the Robert L. Bradshaw Int’l Airport. Delta Airlines 737-800 and the last American AA not in view.”
These flights include, three from American Airlines, and the rest of them are Sky High E-175 Las Americas, Delta Air Lines 737-00, United Airlines 737-900 Newark and Air Canada Rouge.
Further, he also mentioned the flights, and the regions they departed from, including:
- American Airlines 737-800 New York JFK
- American Airlines 737-800 Miami
- American Airlines A320 Charlotte
- Sky High E-175 Las Americas
- Delta Air Lines 737-800 Atlanta
- United Airlines 737-900 Newark
- Air Canada Rouge – Toronto
At last, he praised the Airport and thanked Minister Marsha Henderson and tourism for their efforts to boost the tourism sector of the nation.

Meanwhile, several netizens on social media reacted to the naturalistic and warm beauty of the island. They also commended the expansion of tourism and the sector.
A user named, Giselle Matthews said, “This is all very positive for the destination as stay-over passenger spend is significant for our overall economy and foreign exchange. A proper long-term expansion plan that brings us into the 21st century of travel services is needed if we are to truly compete with other Caribbean destinations nearby. Unfortunately airport land for expansion seems limited. Strategic planning is key.”
Another user, Leroy Williams lauded the Minister of Tourism for her outstanding contributions and said, “Minister Marsha Henderson is doing a phenomenal job as Tourism minister. Big up yourself Minister continue the great work with God’s blessings.”
