The Island of St Kitts was recently showcased on GMA3, America’s latest lifestyle and entertainment news Programme broadcast by ABC News. Dr Denzil Douglas- the Minister of Foreign Affairs was delighted with this significant accomplishment of the Nation.
In an extensive social media post, earlier on Monday, he said that this unique exposure is hugely advantageous to the island and the Tourism sector from a marketing standpoint.
According to the information, the island has been showcased following a lavish honeymoon trip for a newlywed couple was sponsored by the Tourism Authority of St Kitts.
Minister Douglas highlighted that this exciting trip presented a unique opportunity for St Kitts to unravel the island’s captivating treasures firsthand.
He further also cited that this initiative serves as a strategic endeavour to bolster the nation’s standing in the romance market and is a key facet of the nation’s promotional endeavours.
Meanwhile, the Tourism Authority of St Kitts was also grateful and honoured to have the opportunity to demonstrate the nation on this huge platform.
“We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to demonstrate the irresistible allure of St. Kitts on a global platform. Such initiatives reinforce our commitment to cementing St. Kitts as a top-tier tourist destination,” it further noted.
Notably, the young couple identified as Tiffani Ratliff and Ajahlon “AJ” Cooper were competing for the “Couple of the Month,” segment on GMA3. The young couple got married on the international platform, in a “Wedding in a Week” series, by ABC News which commenced after Valentine’s Day on Monday.
