St Kitts and Nevis reported one (1) new COVID-19 case late Sunday afternoon, bringing the number in the federation to 15, all of whom are in mandatory isolation.
“As of today, the Federal Ministry of Health is confirming one additional case of COVID-19. This additional case is a case on St Kitts and now brings a total of 15 confirmed cases for the federation,” said Minister of State with responsibility for Health, Sen the Hon Wendy Phipps.
There are now 11 COVID-19 cases on St Kitts and 4 in Nevis.
Phipps, no longer provide the gender, age, and whether the case was imported, household or community spread.
She said to date; there are 204 confirmed negative cases in terms of test results with 22 pending.
There are no persons in a government quarantine facility although 72 persons are quarantined in their own homes.
To date 620 persons have been released from quarantine, Phipps said.
