Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has taken to Facebook and made a mild reminder to the general public of the Twins Island to apply for the Children’s Assistance Fund.
The SKN government introduced the Children’s Assistance Fund in May 2022. The main aim of this fund is to assist disadvantaged families who can’t afford medical care outside of Twin’s Island.
The SKN government has been working tirelessly to improve the health care system of the twin islands, and this initiative was one of the steps that they took to improve the health care of the children.
PM Drew has urged the people to share this growth so that the news can reach those who are in need of this initiative of the Children’s Assistance Fund.
St Kitts and Nevis residents have also taken to the comment section of PM Drew’s Facebook page and commemorated the Prime Minister for his contribution towards the health care of the country.
The SKN residents have left positive comments in the comment section with 63 shares, as PM Drew has urged them to do.
A user wrote, ”Just a friendly reminder: Dr. Drew cares for you.”
A user by the name of Shelly Balkaran commemorates PM Drew for his work. She wrote this is really outstanding, bless you always. I know the struggle parents and family members go through when you are in this situation”.
Furthermore, posts have been reshared more than 30 times by Facebook users. Additionally, a user by Au David also left a comment in the comment section; she wrote, ‘‘You are doing great work. No one is left behind. We love you, PM. Stay focused on God’s guidance.”
