St Kitts and Nevis will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their independence on September 19, 2023. St Kitts and Nevis’s government has started preparing for the milestone celebrations. The government is urging the people of St Kitts and Nevis to submit their entries for the official theme for the 40th Independence Anniversary of the country. The government have encouraged the country’s people to tap into their creative minds and develop a fitting theme for the 40th-anniversary celebration.
The Organizing Committee officially launched the theme competition for the 40th Anniversary of Independence. The organizing committee noted that the deadline for submission of entries for the competition is by MIDNIGHT Sunday, April 30, 2023. The government has further asserted that only on-time entries would be acknowledged or considered.
The government has laid out several guidelines for the theme competition. The government hopes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the independence with a lot of pomp and show. Accordingly, the government of St Kitts and Nevis has mandated the Guidelines for the theme Competition:
• The theme must be concise and memorable.
• The theme is required to be a phrase, a clause, or a short sentence. It should contain no more than six to eight words.
• The theme needs to capture the essence of the country’s 40-year history of independence. Additionally, it should reflect the current realities and the standard or shared future that all citizens of St Kitts and Nevis can reasonably strive towards.

Participants of the Competition must submit their entries with their names, addresses and contact numbers CASH PRIZE $1500 EC.
The organizing committee will accept the Entries for the theme competition from citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis.
The government will expect the competition winner to appear and participate in specific Independence 40 activities.
