The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee team have shared their support to the St Kitts and Nevis representative, Shafeyah Guishard. She has travelled to Antigua and Barbuda for the Miss Jaycees Queen pageant. Guishard was number 6 among ten contestants vying for the title of Miss Jaycees Queen.
St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee have expressed their confidence in their contestant and were sure she would rock the stage at the Antigua Recreation Ground. The annual event seeks to find the Jaycees Queen. The event will see ten beauties vying for the title of queen.
The competition was highly significant for the people of St Kitts and Nevis as the reigning Miss Jaycees Queen was a beauty from the island. The St Kitts and Nevis Carnival Queen had a lot of expectations set on her to retain the title for the island. The people of St Kitts and Nevis sent in their best wishes to Shafeyah Guishard and urged her to represent the country well at the JCL Antigua, Miss Jaycees Queen Pageant.
Shafeyah Guishard was battling for the title with these amazing beauties:

- Rynel Harris representing the United States Virgin Islands
- Miriam Alexander representing Guyana
- Shadyn McClean representing St Vincent and The Grenadines
- Jareena Penn representing the British Virgin Islands
- Valentchina Dantes representing Haiti
- Janet Turner representing Montserrat
- Shanice Butcher represents Saint Lucia
- Ischikelle Corbin represents Antigua and Barbuda
The theme of the event was: “Celebrating 60 Years of Vibrancy, Culture and Talent.” Shafeyah Guishard represented the country well with her talent and beauty. However, she was not lucky enough to snag the title for herself. The title of Miss Jaycees Queen was claimed by the reigning Miss Antigua and Barbuda, Ischikelle Corbin.
