The leadership of St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) on Friday met with the Hon Samia Nkrumah of Ghana (daughter of legendary President Kwame Nkrumah), Guest Speaker at the 2020 New Year Grand Gala of the NexGen SKNLP. The leaders had breakfast with Samia.
Attending the breakfast with the National Political Leader and former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Rt Hon Dr Denzil L Douglas, were Deputy National Political Leader Hon Marcella Liburd and National Chairman, Dr Terrence Drew at the St Kitts Marriott Resort.
Ghana’s first President, the legendary Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his Egyptian wife, Madam Fathia Halim Rizk’s only daughter, Samia Yaba Nkrumah, is the guest speaker at the annual New Year’s Gala tonight at the St Kitts Marriott Resort and Royal Beach Casino. Samia will deliver the feature address at the sold out annual New Year’s Gala.
Samia is the president and founder of the Kwame Nkrumah Pan-African Centre. The organisation was set up to promote Kwame Nkrumah’s vision, political culture and philosophy within the context of the United Africa.
She articulates that they must unite politically and integrate their economies for the benefit of the people of Africa. Samia is a strong believer of the application of local culture and knowledge in solving local problems and has inspired a lot of young people in the areas of Pan-Africanism, environment and the politics.
