The Minister of Sports in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, took to his social media to extend his gratitude to the Minister of Public Utilities and Infrastructure, Konris Maynard and the Minister of Constituency Empowerment, Joyelle Clarke, for starting the road construction, development and rehabilitation project in his Constituency #4.
The challengers’ community in Constituency 4 has been awaiting the construction of the road in their area for a long time. During his election campaign, their now-elected representative, Minister Samal Duggins, promised the people of his constituency that he would start the work on the road project.
Minister Duggins’s colleagues, Minister Maynard and Dr Clarke, play an instrumental part in the realization of this project. Accordingly, he took to his social media account to share his gratitude to the ministers. He wrote on his social media that It would be remiss of me not to highlight the efforts of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure led by the Konris G M Maynard as well as the Ministry of Sustainable Development led by Dr Joyelle Clarke.
Minister Samal Duggins took the opportunity to thank both Ministers for their extraordinary support in securing the new road for the people of Stonefort Heights. The Minister also shared the image of the progress that has been taking place in the project.
At the same time, he took the opportunity to remind the members of his constituency that he highlighted the issue of the road in the Stonefort Heights shortly after taking office as cabinet minister of St Kitts and Nevis. The Minister asserted that the Ministers of Sustainable Development/ Constituency Empowerment and public utilities and infrastructure took immediate action to solve the issue.
