The Minister of Agriculture, fisheries and marine resources in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, hosted a town hall meeting for the people of his constituency, Constituency 4. He interacted with the members of his constituency to share some glimpses of the conference on his social media account.

He shared that he is always happy to interact with the people of his constituency. The town hall meeting with the Minister of Agriculture and the representative of the constituency number 4, was held on Wedneday, April 19, 2023. The forum was hosted at the Challengers Community center, starting from 7:00 PM.

According to the update shared by Minister Samal Duggins, The town hall meeting hosted on April 19 in Challengers allowed the minister to hear the concerns of the people I serve and update them on the progress made so far. The government of St Kitts and Nevis is committed to providing transparency to the country’s people.

The government has arranged several similar meetings and interactions with the people of St Kitts and Nevis, to provide the access to the people to interact with their leaders and communicate their grievances to their representatives. Minister Duggins has arranged several similar meetings with the people of his constituency.

The people of his constituency share several grievances with their representative, urging him to make the required changes. Accordingly, the minister also extended his gratitude to Elco Ltd. for providing a brief presentation on the progress of the Stonefort Heights roadwork.

As per the update shared by Samal Duggins, the authorities involved in the road work project Informed the minister and his team that roadwork should be completed by June of this year. In line with this, Minister Duggins asserted that he must highlight PS Flemming, PS Taylor and Director Hazel for their updates in the areas of Agriculture, Small Business Development & Sports.
