Four (4) officers of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) have been confirmed to the ranks of Sergeant and Corporal respectively. The conforming of the titles took place In a brief but meaningful ceremony on the morning of June 30, 2023.
During the significant ceremony, the Commissioner of Police of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (COP) James Sutton presented the newly appointed Sergeants Kamara Phillip and Vivian Caesar, and Corporals Granville Chapman and Krystal Bailey with their letters of confirmation.
Further, the COP James Sutton extended his sincere gratitude to the officers for their excellent work and continued dedication to serving and protecting the citizens and residents of the twin islands of St Kitts and Nevis. At the same time, Commissioner of Police Sutton urged them to continue maintaining a high standard of professionalism in the performance of their duties.
He entrusted them with the responsibility of setting an example for those under their command. Further, The Commissioner of Police, Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force also reminded the officers that their work significantly contributes to the fulfillment of the RSCNPF’s national mandate.
In accordance with this, he informed the newly minted officials of the importance of their dedication to their duty. He stated that the manner in which they executed their assigned duties was of the highest importance.
The officers expressed their appreciation at having been selected for the promotion. The four officials of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force pledged to continue carrying out their duties to the best of their abilities.
During the ceremony, Commissioner of Police, James Sutton was accompanied by a number of significant officers. Also present to support and commend the officers were Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Cromwell Henry; Force Personnel Officer Clifford Goviah; Force Chaplin Erickson Cumberbatch; and Assistant Commissioner of Police Adolph Adams.
