Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: SKELEC (St. Kitts Electricity Co. Ltd) informed the residents that their emergency crew is working dedicatedly to restore the power in the North Feeder and Sandy Point Feeder.
The officials have said that they managed to restore power services to the most customers, and they expressed their commitment to reinstate power supply soon in the affected areas.
According to the information, various communities are experiencing an emergency power outage due to maintenance work. These maintenances are significant to ensure the quality and reliability of the electricity company.
In some areas, the interruption of the electricity caused due to faults and the emergency response team have been working day and night to identify the exact reason behind these outages and making necessary reparations to resolve the issues as soon as possible.
“SKELEC is continually working hard to improve the resilience and reliability of our overhead and underground infrastructures toward providing reliable electricity to our customers”, added St. Kitts Electricity department.
