The prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, recently lost his father, the musical legend of St Kitts and Nevis, Michael “Mick Stokes” Heylinger. He took to his social media to extend his deep gratitude and appreciation to the leaders and locals of the country for sending their best wishes and condolences to the family.
The Prime Minister and his family, including his sister, Michelle Sweet Sister Sensia Stokes, are mourning. They are grieving the loss of their father and beloved musician of the federation. Mick Stokes was known and beloved for his immense musical talent, and his work brought great laurels to his country.
Talking about the loss that Dr Drew has endured, he stated, The passing of my father, Mick Stokes, the Legend, has created a deep sense of loss for me, my family, and the entire country. He confessed that losing a parent is never easy.
The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, shared his appreciation for the country’s people for their support and condolences during this time. The Minister of public utilities, ICT et al., Konris Maynard, extended his sincere condolences to the leader of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party and Prime Minister Dr Drew.
In line with this, PM Terrance Drew stated that he and his sister, Michelle “Sweet Sister Sensia” Stokes, are grateful for the support and encouragement the country’s people provide them with. International leaders and politicians have come forward to extend their condolences in the time of grief.
