The prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, took to his social media account to congratulate Cyanna Johnson of Constituency #8 for winning the Miss Labour Day Queen title. He saluted and praised all the contest participants for their performance at the Pageant. The Labour Day Pageant was hosted as a part of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party’s celebration of Labour Day.
Eight Ambassadors from all eight constituencies of St Kitts competed for the title of the Labour Day Queen. The event was hosted at the Carnival Village on Saturday, April 29, 2023. The participants competed in various contests for the title of the Labour Day Queen. The representative of Constituency 8, Cyanna Johnson, snagged the title of the Labour Queen, with total points of 840.50.
Dr Terrance Drew, The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and parliamentary representative of Constituency Number 8 crowned the winning lady as the Labour Day Queen. Cyanna was followed by the representative of Constituency 5, Ashley Wilson. The first runner-up of the pageant, securing a total of 805.50 points for her performance.
The Second and third runners-up of the Labour Day, Constituency 1 representatives Zarina Roberts and Juneicia Williams, secured 795.50 and 781.50 points in the competition. The Prime Minister wrote on his social media that all the participants did well and should be proud of their performance. Further, he congratulated The Reigning Miss Labour, Queen Cyanna Johnson of Constituency #8. Dr Drew shared that the Constituency’s representative made the people proud and brought the crown home.
Dr Terrance Drew also congratulated the other successful contestants of the Pageant, the First Runner Up, Ashley Wilson of C5, Second Runner Up, Zarina Roberts of ‘C1. And Third Runner Up, Junecia Williams of C3, for a Job well done. The Prime Minister, along with all the other Labour Party candidates and Parliamentary representatives, were present at the carnival village for the event.
