The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, is arranging a branch meeting with the people of his constituency Number eight. The conference is a part of the Prime Minister’s commitment to remain connected with the people of his constituency.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew will arrange for the interaction session with the people of his constituency on Sunday, February 26, 2023. The people will interact with their parliamentary representative on their issues and grievances. The Prime Minister regularly arranges these meetings to keep connected with the community’s people.
The meeting will be held at the Conaree community centre from 4:30 PM. Dr Drew took to his social media account to invite the people of his constituency to the interaction session. He wrote on his Facebook post that he had a “date” with constituency #8 and was looking forward to seeing them on Sunday, February 26.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that the prime Minister is a diligent advocate of transparency and accountability to the people of St Kitts. On several occasions, he talked extensively about incorporating these values into his governance on national and regional platforms.
Accordingly, the constituency meeting will serve as an opportunity for Dr Terrance Drew to promote inclusivity, accountability and transparency with the people of his constituency. He will inform the people about the initiatives he has taken up for the benefit of the people.
During these interactions, the Prime Minister and parliamentary representative of constituency #8, Dr Terrance Drew is expected to address various issues of importance including upliftment of the medical facilities in the area. Dr Terrace Drew will also address the other issues in the area, concerning education and business development.
He is expected to listen to the young entrepreneurs’ plans for the future expansion and extention of their busunesses. Other topics of discussion may include addressing the issues of the people in their advance age and other health related issues of the older population.
