St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew along with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince Drew made an appearance at the Christmas Concert hosted by the Deane Glasford Primary School on December 03, 2024.
PM Drew shared glimpses from the Christmas celebration evening on his official social media and noted that he spent an enjoyable evening with his wife at the Deane Glasford Primary School in St Peter’s attending their Christmas Concert.
The Prime Minister and his wife were warmly welcomed with flowers by the students and the staff with a welcome music performance. He appreciated the gesture and cheered the students to enjoy the festive spirit of Christmas.
The students performed a Christmas concert in which they displayed their talent in forms of singing, dancing and acting. A number of students performed plays which reflected the culture of St Kitts and Nevis and the significance of Christmas.
Prime Minister Terrance Drew expressed his delight and pride in watching the students’ performances and noted that they were truly commendable.
He encouraged the students to continue nurturing these skills and develop their curricular quotient. The efforts of the teachers were also applauded for organising such a wonderful event.
PM Drew also made the children happy as he handed over Christmas presents for their wonderful hosting. Th school management were also appreciated for teaching the kids the true meaning and value of kids.
The Prime Minister also stated how cheerful he felt watching everyone dressed in the dress code of Christmas colours.
Notably, the Deane Glasford Primary School hosted the Rejoice Christmas Concert on Tuesday to celebrate the spirit of holiday season. The doors of the concert opened at around 6 in the evening and also offered various refreshments on sale.
