Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew officially cut the ribbon and inaugurated the long awaited “Conaree Football Stadium.” The stadium has been a project that the community has been asking for years and truly deserves.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony was held on May 3, 2025 (Saturday) at 3 pm. The ceremony also included a full stadium tour along with refreshments for the participants.
PM Drew shared a video with the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis on his official Facebook account. The video shows glimpses and excitement of the locals when visiting the newly constructed football stadium.
“Seeing the excitement and pride on their faces reminds me why we work so hard to get things done”, said PM Drew.
He further added that this a victory for all the people of the twin island Federation.
Notably, the Conaree Football Stadium has been a promise made by Prime Minister Drew in 2022. It is now fully completed and set to become a hub for football and community events. The new two-story pavilion is designed to enhance the sporting experience for both the players and spectators.
Additionally, it features covered seating areas, bars, commentary and media booths, changing rooms with showers, bathrooms, and storage areas. The stadium has been designed to be accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities.
