Nevis Culturama Committee is hosting a ‘Walk/Run’ with the aim to support the mental health. The event will be open for all the participants and will be hosted on May 25, starting at 4:30 am with a warm up session from Frigate Bay Lawn.

The walk/run will be organised under the theme ‘Take a Stride, Heal Inside’ at the Development Bank Mental Health. The information of above mentioned has been shared by the Nevis Culturama Festival committee on their official Facebook handle.

“Step up for mental health with us at the Development Bank Metal Health Walk/Run on May 25th, 2024! Join forces with the Nevis Culturama Committee as we support this vital cause. Lace up your shoes, grab your friends, and let’s make strides towards a stigma-free future,” added Culturama Committee.

The officials further extended a vote of thanks to all the sponsors for making this event possible. The committee has also introduced some packages for the participants which are as follows:

  1. The $40 package includes a Bag, T-shirt/Tank Top, Race BIB, Breakfast (Tea/Cold Beverage) with Fruits, Water/Energy Drink and Transportation.
  2. The $60 package includes a Bag, T-shirt/Tank Top, Bottle, Stress Ball, Race BIB, Breakfast (Tea/Cold Beverage) with Fruits, Water/Energy Drink and Transportation.

Moreover, the event will feature various exciting cash prizes for the winners. The person, who will come first will be awarded with $1000, the runner on the second position will be honoured with $500 and the person who will secure third position will receive $250. It is to be noted that the walk with start at 5:00 am, following a warm up session.

Transportation information for Nevis participants

The bus route pickup starts at 3:00 am to the Island wide to the final stop at the Charlestown Ferry terminal.

Notably, the transportation facility will be provided from the Majors Bay to Basseterre Ferry terminal after the event. The participants must have their branded t-shirt or tank tops to grant access on buses and discount on roundtrip tickets.

Transportation information for St. Kitts participants

Pickup will begin at 3:30 am from Majors Bay to East and west Bus Terminals after the event. The participants must have their branded t-shirt or tank tops to grant access on buses.
