The Nevis Culturama Festival and Homecoming Celebration Official Activities has commenced on July 4, 2024. The festival is scheduled to take place from July 4 to August 6, 2024.
The announcement of the calendar was made on July 3, 2024, through the official Facebook page of the Nevis Culturama. As the festival marks it’s 50th anniversary, the island of Nevis is featuring exciting events such as food fairs, poetry nights, and much more.
Nevis Culturama traces its origin back to 1974 and over the years, the festival has evolved into a grand celebration of the culture of Nevis.
The theme for the year 2024 is “Celebrating Culture, Embracing History, It’s Culturama 50.” The festival will feature a spectacular celebration of culture, music, and tradition. The detailed lineup of upcoming events for the festival is as follows:
July 19- C50 Wet Fete
July 20- Opening of Cultural Village
July 21- TDC Senior Kaiso Fiesta (Semi-Finals)
July 22- Culcha Pot
July 24- Green House Band & Nevis Solid Waste Management Authority Junior Kaiso Finals
July 25- Culturama 50, Official Opening Ceremony
July 26- Culturama 50 Golden Jubilee Awards Ceremony
July 28- Ms Culture Swimwear and Mr Kool Contest
July 29- Poets in Square
– Boni Panorama Contest
July 30- Poets in Square
– Republic Bank Mr and Ms Talented youth Pageant
July 31- HOMECOMING DAY
-First Federal Homecoming Celebration

– Homecoming Ball
August 1- Poets in the Square
– Junior Cultural Street Parade

The venues and the timings for all the events have also been announced.
