The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, recently took to his social media account to share a significant update regarding the Veterinary clinic of Nevis. Reportedly, the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine approved Nevis Animal Speak as an externship site to help teach future veterinarians. The initiative is a significant step in promoting the island of Nevis and veterinary practices.
The Nevis Animal speak, a charity veterinary clinic in Nevis, has been working on the island to provide low-cost health care for dogs and cats with a focus on population control through spaying, neutering and the continuing education of our clients through best practices in small animal care.
As per the update, reshared by Premier Mark Brantley, the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine made the development known on Monday, March 13, 2023. The charity hospital shared that This is a huge step for our country as our charity clinic increases its international exposure. Further, the authorities at the veterinary clinic noted, Nearly 10 years ago, Nevis Animal Speak was founded on the principal of education.
They added that they will help teach future veterinarians as we continue to provide best practices in small animal care. We will welcome our first University of Florida externship student summer of 2023 and are grateful for the opportunity, acknowledgement and confidence that the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine has shown in the Nevis Animal Speak charity small animal clinic!
