MSR Media has organized the premier of Christmas in Paradise in St Kitts and Nevis. The film in question is shot completely in St Kitts at the picturesque Kittitian Hill Resort.
The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, attended the film’s Premiere on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Caribbean Cinemas in Basseterre. The other Prime Minister’s Cabinet members also accompanied Dr Drew at the premiere event.
Talking about his experience at the premiere of the movie, Dr Terrance Drew took to his Facebook account, where he wrote:
It was a pleasure attending the premiere of MSR Media’s Christmas in the Caribbean, filmed in our beautiful twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, at Kittitian Hill Resort.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Drew, stated that he looks forward to furthering collaborations with MSR Media as we work towards developing prospects for our creatives. The future is bright for our Creative Economy.
MSR Media has shot and completed eight feature films in St Kitts and Nevis so far. This gesture on the production house’s part has propelled St Kitts and Nevis to be one of the most sought-after film-making destinations.
St Kitts and Nevis have, thus far, seen the production and release of Assailant, Christmas in the Caribbean, Christmas in Paradise, and A Week in Paradise. These films were released in the year 2022. For the upcoming year, the lineup of movies, shot in St Kitts and Nevis and ready to be showcased to the world, including One Year Off, Us or Them, The Island and Black Noise.
Further, MSR Media is currently producing Strictly Confidential. Damian Hurley will direct the movie. He is the son of internationally known British actress Elizabeth Hurley.
Three other films, First Law, Fast Sea, and Paradise Peak, are in the preparation stages to be produced in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2023
