Michael Martin, the head of the St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment has been making several unprecedented changes and updates to the programme in order to maintain the highest standards of the country’s citizenship by investment offering. The leadership of the St Kitts and Nevis CIU has been working diligently for months in order to transform the programe for the better.
Through these changes, the programme can successfully meet the ever changing needs of the modern High Net Worth Individual. Citizenship by Investment programme is one of the most significant part of the country’s economic prosperity. Martin and his team understand the responsibility that they have been entrusted with.
Accordingly, they have introduced a number of important changes to the programme which are primarily aimed towards adding to the safety and security of the programme. The CIU, headed by Michael Martin have added several security measures to the programme.
One of the most important changes to be introduced by Michael Martin and his team is the introduction of the SISC Sustainable Island State Contribution. The new investment option has replaced the Sustainable Growth Fund. The key differences in the SISC is that through this investment option, the HNWIs will be able to get access to the St Kitts and Nevis’ offerings for a an increased minimum investment amount.
For the newly installed Sustainable Island State Contribution, investment amounts are prescribed as follows:
- Minimum contribution for a family of two – US$ 300,000
- Minimum contribution for a family of three or four – US$ 350,000
- Due diligence for a single applicant – US$ 10,000
- Due diligence for a family of two – US$ 17,500
- Due diligence for a family of three or four – US$32,000
The revised minimum investment amounts seek to make sure that only the most serious and deserving candidates can get access to the programme and their benefits. This way, the Michael Martin led CIU can ensure that reputation of the programme will remain safe in the present climate of uncertainty.
These safety measures introduced by the CIU include better and more robust due diligence procedures, inclusion of another layer of screening to the Citizenship Application, in the form of the mandatory in-person and virtual interviews for the citizenship applicants.
The Michael Martin led CIU has also added a number of other safeguards to the programme, making sure that only the people with a clean background and no criminal history can get access to the programme’s plethora of benefits.
In the present world climate, it is extremely important for High-Net-worth Individuals to make certain that their families and themselves are safe. St Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment offers the high-net-worth individuals the certainty and the assurance of their safety and security.
