St Kitts and Nevis are gearing up to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of their Independence from the British empire. The country was the last of the Caribbean colonies to become an independent and self governed country. Thus, celebrating four decades of the success is a great national pride. It is to be noted that the country’s people are also equally excited to touch the four-decade mark.
The authorities of St Kitts and Nevis have announced the official launch of the Independence 40 celebration. The celebrations will open with a celebratory event hosted on July 14, 2023. The organizers of the festival have called on the people of the country to come forward to attend the official launch of the independence day celebration.
The theme for the fortieth anniversary celebration is: Growing Sustainably, Developing Maturely, Building Resiliently: Independence 40 The theme of the 40 years anniversary celebration is critical. This is because it is more of a directive and a sentiment.
According to the creator of the 40th independence day anniversary celebration, they do not want the theme of the celebration to be forgotten by the time the next year rolls around. The celebration’s official launch will feature several entertainment events starting from the Circus at 5:00 PM. The launch event will also release the calender of the celebratory events. St Kitts and Nevis’s prominent musicians and entertainers will provide the event’s entertainment.
