Creating a major embarrassment for the leader of opposition in Dominica and UWP political leader Lenox Linton, a day after he has claimed that he does not know who is Terry Baron, a couple of pictures showing him welcoming Terry Baron on an event has been surfaced.
In other photos, Terry Baron can be seen with Senator Felix Thomas, Glenroy Cuffy, Hon Daniel Lugay and Dr Pharaoh Cuffy in a very friendly gesture.
These pictures have been released by the European news website CCE news which has earlier exposed in an article that Linton is engaged in corruption and conspiracy to sell national assets of country and lands in a deal to dispose of Government land to a developer named Terry Baron.
But yesterday Linton on a radio channel claimed that “I do not know Terry Baron, I do not know Chris HP, I know nothing of the characters who have been named to be associated with me in some sort of scheme to buy Dominica land.” “I have never communicated with these individuals whoever they are, whether they are real or fake,” Linton said.
The recent pictures have come as a major setback for Linton as his integrity on the line as now he has to explain if he don’t know the person why he was accompanying him during an event.
According to CCE, a commitment of $1 million is pledged for his election campaign by the developer named Terry Baron. The organisation also accused Terry Baron of providing financial assistance for UWP campaign.
