The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas took to his social media account to share glimpses of the successful execution of the third edition of the Diplomatic Week hosted from April 22 to April 28. The Minister of Foreign Affairs shared that the initiative was successful in the country.
Talking about the event in detail in his social media post, Dr Denzil Douglas wrote that Over 52 Diplomats from several Countries were represented at the 2023 edition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomatic Week. The event featured diplomats and ambassadors from across the globe. The event was also attended by ambassadors of St Kitts and Nevis stationed at the various nations.
Dr Denzil Douglas stated during the Week long lineup of events interacted with all the diplomats in attendants. He informed them of the St Kitts and Nevis Government’s intentions to build a sustainable island state. The 2023 edition of the St Kitts and Nevis diplomatic week was hosted under the theme “Driving Change, Advancing the Vision for a sustainable island state.”
After the initiative concluded successfully, Dr Denzil Douglas took to his social media to extend his gratitude to the attendants. he wrote: Thanks to all of our Diplomats, those residing in St Kitts and Nevis, Returning Nationals and those representing Friendly Foreign Countries. Dr Douglas also added that we hope to build on this momentum as we move forward as a Ministry.
The Diplomatic Week is held every three years. The 2023 event was the third edition of the hosting of Diplomatic Week. The initiative served to bring the members of the international community closer. It was an opportunity to spread the message of the government’s intention to create a sustainable island state and work on meeting these expectations through diligent work.
