The elections in Nevis are hours away, and the Concerned Citizens Movement hosted their Final Rally ahead of the local assembly elections. The final rally was hosted on Sunday, December 11 2022. The venue of the final event in the election calendar, Caribbean Cove, saw several supporters of the political party in attendance.

The Concerned Citizens Movement urged its supporters to attend the final rally before the elections in large numbers.

The event was arranged by the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM), where several artists and bands were in attendance at the event. The event had the following artists and bands for the entertainment of the attending masses.

HASHIM “THE DREAM” LEWIS
BLACKSTONE FAMILY
GRAND MASTERS BAND
NEW LEVEL SOUND
DEEJAY SMUDGE

The final rally of the Concerned Citizens Movement kick-started at 6:00 PM and went on indefinitely. The event was attended by several of the political party’s supporters.

During the event, all the nominated candidates from the political party addressed the attendants of the rally. During the various addresses, the political leaders of the party urged the supporters to vote for them and ensure a clean sweep victory for the CCM Government

It is worth mentioning that the leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) is the serving Premier of Nevis and his political party had four out of the five total seats in the Nevis Island Assembly in their last tenure 2017-22.

For the tenure of 2022-27, the following leaders will contest from the Concerned Citizens Movement for the assembly seats:

Nevi 1 Spencer Brand
Nevis 2 Mark Brantley
Nevis 3 Eric Evelyn
Nevis 4 Alexis Jeffers
Nevis 5 Latoya Biyanca Jones

Further, in the snap federal elections, the CCM won all three general assembly seats they had contested for, claiming Nevis completely.

The polling stations in Nevis will open at 7:00 AM. The political party has instructed and urged their supporters to cast their votes carefully.
