Nevis: A new twice-weekly direct flight has been launched by Cape Air from St, Croix to Nevis. The announcement of the launch of this flight was made on Wednesday, 19 June 2024.

The inaugural flight will operate only twice a week, Fridays and Sundays. The newly launched flight will depart from St. Croix’s Henry E Rohlsen Airport (STX) to Nevis’ Vance W. Amory International Airport (NEV) commencing on July 12, 2024.

Mark Brantley, the Premier of Nevis, shared on his social media, the updates and schedule of the flights. He also mentioned that the flight service will reinforce regional connectivity and encourage the tourism sector of Nevis Island.

“The great news continues for Nevis just in time for C50 and our grand Homecoming Celebrations, Cape Air launches brand new twice weekly service from St. Croix direct to Nevis,” shared Mark Brantley.

Cape Air will provide direct service to the Nevis Culturama Festival 2024 and offer accessibility to travellers for the summer line of the Caribbean region.

The Nevis Tourism Authority has also revealed the schedule for the flights and said that the launch of the flight will aim to enhance connectivity. Some special introductory rates and the timings for the flights have also been unveiled by the airline.

The departure timings for the flight from St. Croix will be 11:40 am and it will arrive in Nevis at 12:45 am. Flight service from Nevis will depart at 01:50 pm and arrive in St. Croix at 02:55.

The special fare will begin for the inaugural flights, starting 12 July, 2024. The fare for the service from Nevis to St. Croix will be $349.10 inclusive of all the taxes and extra charges. Whereas, the rate for the flight from St. Croix to Nevis will be $328.10 including the taxes.
