CARIFESTA XV has served as an opportunity for the nations across the Caribbean region to showcase their culture and creative talents. The fifteenth edition of the event is being hosted in Barbados will see a large delegation of Creatives from St Kitts and Nevis consisting of more than 100 participants.
The delegation will be led by the Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and will feature stakeholders from different sectors across the nation. The delegation will feature students, creatives, and members of the armed forces will be present at the event.
The officers will work alongside the Barbados Defence Force (BDF), the Barbados Police Service and law enforcement officers from the Caribbean. The officers will also include police and law enforcement officers from across the region.
The students from across the country were also given the opportunity to be included in the delegation. A three-person delegation from the Saddlers Secondary School is also attending CARIFESTA XV in Barbados starting August 22.
Students who will be part of the delegation are Tejanae French and Khalaylah Maccabbee and they are accompanied by their chaperone Deidra O’Loughlin. These students are part of a delegation from the OECS Commission attending the August 22nd to 31st, 2025 events in Barbados.
The CARIFESTA XV which has been a center for creative excellence for nearly a decade and half will welcome large delegations to its attendance
The principal and staff members from the Saddlers Secondary School have encouraged the students to represent the school we’ll. They must participate “in this learning experience, build meaningful relationships, develop creativity, seek knowledge and experience that will help in the development of your school and community, meanwhile, have fun.
The school teachers wish the representatives and the chaperone accompanying them much success and a safe return.
The delegation has already departed for Barbados and are waiting for the events to begin.
