Boris Johnson has been blamed for “sunning himself, drinking vodka martinis” in the Caribbean as opposed to managing the Iran emergency issue, in a wilting Labor assault.
Emily Thornberry, the shadow foreign secretary, stood up as it rose that the leader won’t come back to work until Monday – very nearly two weeks after he travelled to the island of Mustique.
She called attention to that Mark Sedwill, the cabinet secretary, had been left to seat three crisis Cobra gatherings about the death of Qasem Soleimani, in Mr Johnson’s nonattendance.
“He’s sunning himself, drinking vodka martinis elsewhere, and not focusing on this,” Ms Thornberry revealed.
