On the occasion of Global Travel Advisor Day St. Kitts Tourism Authority appreciated the efforts of Tourism Advisors for their role in making the island visible to international tourists. SKTA commemorated the day with a post on their social media platforms on Wednesday 6, April 2026.
St. Kitts Tourism Authority believes that the day is not just a random date on the calendar, it is an opportunity for them to cherish and recognize the success of Tourism Advisors working as a bridge between the destination and tourist.
According to the organisation, they are the reason visitors, including families, couples, solo travellers get their favorite spot to chill on their holidays. SKTA said, “You are the reason a family discovers their favorite holiday, you are the reason a couple finds the perfect place to stay I do, you are the reason a solo traveller takes the leap they have always been afraid to take”.
The organisation also extended their gratitude towards the Tourism Advisors working for the marketing of the island. They give their time learning about St. Kitts, representing the island confidently, working at night and attending late night calls to spread the word about the destination. During emergencies, tourism advisors also go the extra mile and choose St. Kitts every time when there are so many other Caribbean destinations waiting for their recommendations and recommending the island to international tourists.
The Organisation said, “ To every travel advisor who has ever said “St. Kitts is worth it” Thank you”. Moreover, they even acknowledge that their job role is not easy. They are not just agents who book tickets, they make the visits of the tourists meaningful and give them the opportunity to create memories of a lifetime
“We know your job is not easy, behind every seamless itinerary is hours of research, relationship-building, and genuine care for your clients. You do not just book trips, you curate experiences, manage expectations, and carry the trust of the people you serve”.
St. Kitts Tourism Authority mentioned that the Island would never be a travel destination without the support and belief of the Travel Advisor in promoting the island.
