The St Kitts and Nevis Red Cross Society has convened a new governing board for the day to day operations of the company. The new president of the governing board, Dr. Kerdis Clarke has expressed his appreciation and confidence in the capability of the new board.
He said that the new membership “represents a blend of experienced leadership and fresh perspectives, all united by the fundamental principles of the Red Cross.” The announcement of the new board was made to the members of the media with the help of a press release..
In a press release the SKNRCS said the newly constituted board will lead the National Society for a two-year term. They will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering across the federation.
President of the new governing body, Dr. Kerdis Clarke is leading a diverse team of dedicated professionals and volunteers from the islands of both St. Kitts and Nevis.
The other members of the governing body are: Vice President (St. Kitts): Mrs. Vercelette Molyneaux, Vice President (Nevis): Mrs. Georgette Hanley, Treasurer: Mrs. Vernesia Walters, Youth Director: Mr. Za Meire GiVace, Floor Members (St. Kitts): Mrs. Corlis Hyligar & Ms. Kerine Warner; Floor Members (Nevis): Ms. Pearl Bartlette & Ms. Philicia Walters
The SKNRCS said the newly elected Board also includes Branch Directors elected during their respective 2025 Branch Assemblies:

Mrs. Shantell Pemberton-Chumney (St. Kitts) and Mr. Chris Clarke (Nevis), alongside appointed specialists Mrs. Shyra Manners (Legal Advisor) and Mr. Timothy Martin (Disaster Coordinator).
