St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) Force Commander, Major Kayode Sutton welcomed Commander Steve Hulse, Senior Military Liaison Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Hulse visited the island on Thursday 11, June 2026 at Camp Springfield.
According to reports, the visit by Commander Hulse marked his final engagement before handing over his duties to the next coming Senior Military Liaison Officer. Commander Morgan Fowler will take over from Commander Steve Hulse.
Moreover, Commander Morgan Fowler also accompanied Commander Steve Hulse in his final visit as Senior Military Liaison Officer in St. Kitts and Nevis. The St. Kitts Nevis Defence force also shared the glimpse of the engagement on their official social media handle along with a note, where they shared the both organisation’s upcoming projects.
Additionally, Saint Clair Williams, Sergeant Major, Warrant Officer Class one (WO1) from the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force SKNDF was also present during the engagement along with Major Kayode Sutton. The official meeting between both organizations officials highlights the SKNDF and United States of America strategic partnership and stronger relationship of working together closely.
The SKNDF mentioned that the engagement was all about reaffirming the partnership between them. The SKNDF said, “The meeting reaffirmed the enduring partnership and commitment between the SKNDF and the U.S. military”.
Additionally, both the organizations engaged in discussion on several topics including, advancing joint cooperation, and strengthening regional security. Further in the discussion they discussed enhancing capacity building through modern fit for purpose training and highlights to advance and maintain operational readiness across the Eastern Caribbean along with extension in the western hemisphere.
Major Kayode Sutton, also appreciated the Commander Steve Hulse for his dedicated service and support. Sutton even welcomed next Senior Military Liaison Officer Morgan Fowler. The St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force commented on continuing working in collaboration with the United States of America. They said, “We look forward to continued collaboration with the United States of America in advancing peace, security, and stability throughout the region”.
