Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and Political Leader of SKNLP, Dr Terrance Drew, will address the SKNLP 94th Annual Conference on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party is organising a conference to mark its 94th Anniversary of the political organisation at the new SKNLP Headquarters, Manhattan Gardens. Prior to this event, the members of the political party, including Leader Dr Terrance Drew readied the venue by painting the wall in Labour colours.
The St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party 94th Annual conference have a Business Session which is to be attended by delegates only, will begin at 9:00 AM. The session will go underway in the leadership of the chairperson Diana Williams. She will also give the opening remarks, followed by a report from the National Secretary, Meshac Alford and Treasurer, Shavon Douglas.
During the conference, the representatives of the 8 constituencies on St. Kitts will present their respective resolutions to the delegates.
The public session of the conference will begin at 3:00 PM. This session will be attended by invited guests, including members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps, business leaders and representatives of several organizations.
The session will begin with the arrival of the representatives of the 8 constituencies across St Kitts. The Guest Speaker of the Conference, St. Lucia’s Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Rural Development, Lisa Jawahir will arrive next.
Next, the St. Kitts and Nevis National Anthem will be played by Tahjaun Walters on the steel pan and the invocation will be said by Rev. Renicia Huggins.
SKNLP Chairperson, Diana Williams will be delivering the opening and welcome remarks. After, the conference will witness greetings from the Diaspora including Friends of Labour, Toronto and constituency representatives.
The conference will also honour eight mothers from across St Kitts and the Mothers of Labour and Miss Labour Best talent 2026 Miss Destiny Huggins will perform. Following the presentation of the guest speaker, Political Leader, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew will deliver the Conference Address.
This year’s conference is being held under the theme: “Labour Strong-United in Purpose, Committed To Progress.”
