Nu Vybes Band International has been declared the winners of the 2025 Road March Title with their performance on “Home Coming. The victory is significant for the band as this is the first time in two decades that the Number Vybes International has won the title.
The 2025 Road March took place on December 26, 2025 as a part of the 54th edition of the Sugar Mas Carnival which is currently in progress. The organizers of the Road March have been an important annual tradition of the Sugar Mas Carnival for years.
The announcement of the winners was made by the Carnival Chairperson, Sahannon Hawley. She announced that “Home Coming” won the title with 259.5 points after a “double tie” breaker .
Kollision Band, which is another extremely popular band was declared the first runner up in the competition after their performance “TMI” on 259.5 points.
Second Runner-up were Grand Masters with “Rock Steady.”
“The speakers rolled, the riddims shook the streets, and history was made!” Said the chairperson of the Carnival. The organization has shared that they were delighted to see the response that the road march received from the people of the island.
A large number of people attended the road march and made the experience more delightful for the people of the island. The officials have shared that they are grateful for all the bands who made it out to the road march and added to the experience.
The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee has extended their sincere appreciation for the performances. They also congratulated the Nu Vybes Band International for their resplendent victory in the competition.
The Sugar Mas 54, Sweet to the Core, Carnival will come to a close on Friday January 2, 2026. More events will be hosted in the final week of the carnival for the 2025-26 edition.
