St Kitts and Nevis has been working towards improving the lives of the children in the country and empowering them with opportunities through the ELEVATE programme. The programme has helped hundreds of children who have been identified as vulnerable and at risk.

The programme has recently organised a summer camp where children from across the country were invited to be part of the third annual crime prevention summer soccer camp.
This summer camp was designed to help the youngsters from across the federation to find alternate pathways. The initiatives like the summer camp was designed to help the youth of St Kitts and Nevis move away from a life of crime.

It focuses on equipping young people, especially young men, with the tools they need to change the trajectory of their lives. Skills training, entrepreneurship support, character development, conflict resolution, and counseling are some of the targeted work that the programme does for the children.
