The former Chairman of the People’s Labour Party Douglas Wattley has applauded the Labour Administration under Dr Terrance Drew for their work of rebuilding the Joshua Obediah Williams Primary School. The former PLP Member took to his social media account to share glowing praise for the school, which is currently under construction.
The Politician was delighted to see the progress at the school and offered his own advice regarding the landscaping of the school. The former PLP Chairman shared the post on Monday, highlighting that he had seen the building under construction while he was driving through Molineux on Sunday.
He called out the former government led by the third Prime Minister saying that the project was another example of an asset that was destroyed under TimO (Dr Timothy Harris), the third Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and built back under Dr. Terrance Drew, current Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis.
He even went on to say, “One destroys and one builds. Just saying.”
Notably, the main compound of the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School was destroyed in a fire in March 2022. The rehabilitation and construction of the school has been in progress for several months.
From time to time, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Dr Geoffrey Hanley and Dr Terrance Drew have been visiting the construction site to assess its progress. The officials have shared that the construction project of the Joshua Obediah Williams Primary School stands as a testament to the government’s unwavering dedication to education and community development.
The project is also part of a broader initiative to modernise educational infrastructure across the Federation. The construction project has also been garnering praise from other members of the community.
People across Molineux have lauded the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party Administration for their commitment to upgrading, maintaining and developing education infrastructure across the country.
