West Indies International Men Cricket is welcoming the Senior Men’s Team of Sri Lanka for a multi format bilateral series in June and July 2026. Both teams come face to face in 3 major formats: One Day International series, T20 International series and Test series.
The matches are being hosted by Cricket West Indies (CWI) in collaboration with International Cricket Council (ICC) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
During the multi format bilateral series between the two countries, CWI will manage the local logistics including venues, match operations, ticketing, security, and local broadcast production. SLC will conduct the selection of the Sri Lankan national squads, logistics of the team’s travel, and coordinate along with CWI regarding the tour itinerary.
Moreover the Sri Lanka tour of the West Indies is a bilateral series. The International Cricket Council (ICC) looks into the match regulations and provides neutral match officials. The tour starts with a One day International series in which three matches are scheduled from 3 to 8 June 2026 and matches will be played at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
The second series T20 International will begin from 12 to 15 June in which both teams play three matches at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua. In the third format Test series there will be two matches which are scheduled on 25 to 29 June 2026 and 3 to 7 July at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Before the official Test Match between both the teams there will be a four day warm- up match.
Additionally, for the Sri Lanka tour of West Indies, Kusal Mendis will be leading the Sri Lanka Men cricket team in all three formats. He has taken over the ODI captaincy from Charith Asalanka for the bilateral series.
