The officials from the Department of Agriculture St. Kitts participated in the retirement ceremony of the Andra Passe-Morton. The ceremony was held on Sunday July 19, 2026. Morton, who retired on July 19, served as Manager in the Agro-Processing Unit for 13 years.
The Ministry shared the news of attending the ceremony online on their official social media page on Sunday, July 19. The ministry mentioned that they felt proud in attending the event and acknowledged her outstanding service in the Agro-Processing Unit.
The Ministry stated, “The Department of Agriculture proudly joins in recognizing Andrea Passe-Morton on her retirement following 13 years of exemplary service as Manager of the Agro-Processing Unit”.
Moreover, they further explained that throughout her service she fulfilled her responsibilities with dedication and under her leadership role the unit moved towards the advancement. She also did outstanding work in supporting the agriculture sector.
The Ministry said, “Morton’s dedication, leadership and unwavering commitment to advancing agro-processing have made a lasting contribution to the agriculture sector”.
Moreover, Andrea Passe-Morton even inspired her colleagues through her passion and professionalism and helped the Ministry to achieve their vision and goal to enhance the agriculture in the federation. The Ministry said they wished for her new journey to be filled with success and wealth and sincerely thanked her for serving in the Agro-Processing unit under the Department of Agriculture in St. Kitts.
The ministry said, “We extend deepest gratitude for her invaluable service and wish her every success, good health, and happiness as she begins this well-earned new chapter”.
Additionally, the ministry further congratulated Morton on her retirement and mentioned that everyone within the ministry will remember her legacy in the department. The Ministry stated, “Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement, Andre Passe-Morton, Your legacy of service will be fondly remembered”.
