The Prime Minister’s office opened an intensive, three-day music industry workshop in the Department of Agriculture office. The initiative is being hosted in collaboration with the elevate programme.
The aim of the programme is to make sure that the programme seeks to uplift the creative industry of Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that the the initiative was led by popular Trinidadian producer, singer, and engineer, Keron “Sheriff” Thompson.
The Trinidadian artist has been awarded for his music prowess and took the responsibility to guide the youngsters of St Kitts and Nevis. During the workshop, the participating youngsters will be able to learn valuable lessons.
The three day Music Industry Workshop sought to educate the creatives and budding creatives of the country. The initiative falls in line with the mandate of the govrnemene to grow the prominence of the creative industry of St Kitts and Nevis.
St Kitts and Nevis has a rich culture and is home to several, creatives, musicians, creatives and people of goodwill. The members of the community applauded the department of Creative Economy for their efforts towards promoting the interests of creatives.
The members of the creative industry will be given valuable lessons in professional music production. The Trinidadian artist informed the workshop participants about professional music landscape.
He gave them valuable insight on gaining tools to elevate their craft and careers in the field. The Trinidadian artist, Keron “Sheriff” Thompson has extensive experience in the field of music production and creative pursuits.
He has worked with Global Music Giants like global Machel Montano, Busta Rhymes, and Major Lazer. His insights from the field will prove to be most valuable for people who are building a career in this field.
The Prime Minister’s office extended their support to the Departmeent of Creative Economy in organizing this workshop. The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, Minister of Creative Economy et al, Samal Duggins and other stakeholders were happy with the successful opening of the three day workshop.
