One month after the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis hosted the General Elections to select a new government for its people, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) took to their official Facebook Account to mark the occasion.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party gained a massive victory in the country’s general elections, winning six of the eight seats they had contested. Following the historic win, The Leader of the SKN Labour Party, Dr Terrance Drew, was sworn in as the Prime Minister of the Federation the following day (August 6, 2022)
To mark the occasion, The SKN Labour Party took to their Facebook Account, celebrated the completion of a month of their governance, and shared an update with the people.
The caption of the post read:
Exactly one month ago, the people of St. Kitts and Nevis rose against a dictatorial regime after enduring seven long years of greed, nepotism, and general corruption.
August 5 will long be remembered as ‘Freedom Day‘ by many, as the 2022 general elections resulted in a massive victory for the SKNLP, not only in the number of seats captured but also in the overwhelming win of the district boxes in each constituency across St. Kitts.
Within that short month, our SKNLP-led government has signed off on and delivered a number of measures and policies that significantly impact the lives of Kittitians, Nevisians, and residents.
The entire leadership of the SKNLP is forever indebted to the people of St Kitts and Nevis and will continue to fight for, represent, invest in, and advance the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
