The People’s Labour Party has announced six candidates for the upcoming general elections in St Kitts and Nevis. The candidates were announced during the Convention hosted by the Political Party on August 8, 2026.
The candidate which has been announced for Constituency 1 is Calvin Alexander Pemberton. He has been working as an Architect within the community for more than thirty years.
The People’s Labour Party calls their new candidate from C-1 a Nation builder and a Community leader as he has helped design and build St. Kitts and Nevis, from Bayview Housing to National Heroes Park.
The candidate has previously served as a former Director of Public Works. The Political Party is confident that Pemberton knows how the government works and how to get real results.
The PLP candidate for Constituency 2 is Dameon Lawrence. He was born and raised in Basseterre and has nearly two decades of service at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort under his belt. Lawrence serves as the Deputy Leader of the People’s Labour Party.
The PLP candidate from Constituency 3 comes from Fry’s Village. He is responsible for building one of St. Kitts’ most respected tour companies.
Troy “Spuddy” Hendrickson started as a Traffic Clerk in 1989 and went on to become the founder of Caribbean Journey Mast’rs, Vibes Beach Bar & Grill, and Daddy’s Girl Snorkel Charters. Father first.
The Entrepreneur has 25+ years of experience in hospitality. The political party is confident that he will serve the public of St Kitts and Nevis with the same sincerity.
Constituency 4 candidate has been chosen from From Sandy Point. Delonte Lewis has served his community as a teacher, entrepreneur, and youth leader. He has formerly served as the Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture. He is also the Co-founder of Young Lives Matter SKN.
The candidate from Constituency 5 Patricia Isles-Caesar has served the country as an Educator. Mentor. Servant leader. For over 30 years, She has worked with youngsters in St. Kitts classrooms and taught students English. She is also known to fund uniforms and extra lessons out of her own pocket for students who needed it most.
Previously, she has served as the Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Education and she is signing up to serve the country in a different capacity as a candidate for People’s Labour Party
The final candidate that has been announced during the convention is Claudine A. Saunders. She is also an educator and Community builder. She is a Champion for the people of Constituency #8.
She has worked as a teacher and mentor in the Basseterre High school for nearly three decades.
Constituency 7 will continue to be contested by Timothy Harris, who is the sitting Member of Parliament and former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.
