Two Army fighters have been executed in a gunbattle with intensely furnished Pakistani infiltrators along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri area.

Authorities said the infiltrators were captured in the Khari Thrayat woods as they endeavoured to sneak into India from Pakistan-involved Kashmir.

“Two armed force troopers martyred during cordon and search activity in Nowshera segment. The activity is still in advance, and further subtleties are anticipated,” the Army said.

The inquiry activity was propelled following data about the development of suspected fear based oppressors, the authorities said.

The infiltrators opened discharge on the soldiers and during a savage gunfight, the two officers were executed, they said.

One hundred sixty fear-based terrorists were killed, and 102 captured, in Jammu and Kashmir a year ago.
