Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis welcomed the Ambassador Designate of the European Union, Fiona Ramsey for a courtesy call. The government of the country shared some images from the meeting.
The Prime Minister has also shared some images from the event. The Ambassador Designate of the European Union will be working with St Kitts and Nevis on their development goals.
The Prime Minister and Ambassador Ramsey discussed the various avenues of development which will help in the growth of the country. The discussions were centered around the areas of Education, security, diversification of education and more.
The Prime Minister shared that they also discussed Climate Change, renewable energy and other crucial areas where the support of the European Union would be expected. The Prime Minister said that during this meeting with the Ambassador Designate, they reaffirmed their commitment to the values of democracy, human rights, and sustainable development.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has shared that he was delighted to welcome the ambassador. After the meeting, Dr Drew sent the ambassador off with some goods and gifts from St Kitts and Nevis.

The Ambassador presented her credentials to the Governor General of St kitts and Nevis signalling the beginning of her work in the region and with St Kitts and Nevis. The Governor General of St Kitts and Nevis received her warmly and reaffirmed their commitment to making sure that St Kitts and Nevis will continue to work with the members of the community.
The officials have shared that St Kitts and Nevis continues to work with the members of the European Union. The EU has been a very important partner of the St Kitts and Nevis leadership as they navigated the growth of the island nation.
