SKTA, Carnival UK and P&O Cruises collaborate for beach and coastal cleanup

The St Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) partnered with the stakeholders from Carnival UK and P&O cruises to conduct a beach and Coastal Cleanup drive. The cleanup was also supported by the members of the community who participated voluntarily.

The partnership between the organizations has helped in the beautification of the coastal area. The event have shared that the members of the community will be working with the members of the community

The officials have shared that the campaign happened on Monday, December 8, 2025. The officials have shared that it is important for the people of the country to constantly beautify and clean the island at regular intervals. 

The progress is proof that the members of the Carnival UK and P&O Cruise take their partnership with the government of St Kitts and Nevis. The cruise lines have been coming to the island nation with their cruise ships bringing hundreds and thousands of passengers aboard several ships. 

The officials have shared images from the clean-up initiative which has helped in removing the coastal waste in the country. The officials have shared that the members of the team volunteers which supported the initiative included the members of the crew from the cruise ships visiting the island nation. 

The other volunteers included local people who were willing to assist the campaign of the St Kitts Tourism Authority. The officials have shared that during this project, the participants were able to remove much of the waste from the coast line. The officials have shared that the members of the community have demonstrated their dedication to preserving the marine coastal and marine coastline of the country. 

The stakeholders have shared that they understand the importance of the programme for the people of the country and the increase of the island’s appeal for the people all over the world.
