The travel industry leader, Marc Schneider has been appointed as General Manager of Park Hyatt St Kitts.
A highly reputed Hyatt veteran, Marc Schneider will look after all operations at distinctive beachfront resort. Situated within Christophe Harbour on Banana Bay, one of the luxuries resorts of Island Park Hyatt St Kitts features 126 sustainably-designed rooms for guests, a world-class Miraval Life in Balance Spa, state-of-the-art event spaces and three innovative restaurants.
Senior vice president for Latin America and Caribbean, Hyatt, Myles McGourty said that the St Kitts resort is Park Hyatt’s only property in Caribbean and they are excited to welcome new GM Schneider to the helm of Park Hyatt St Kitts, which is a luxury resort that authentically celebrates island culture and its natural environment.
“Marc’s well-rounded leadership skillset, strong desire to succeed and strong financial aptitude will surely make him an asset to the Hyatt’s team and will help him further enhance guest experiences by introducing rare and enticing amenities that attract discerning visitors from around the world,” he added.
Marc Schneider has over 20 years of experience in hospitality and vast knowledge of business, luxury, lifestyle and the resort hotels in the North American and the Caribbean markets. Schneider was recently got promoted as Resort Manager of Grand Hyatt Baha Mar from his previous position as the director of rooms. During his period at the award-winning resort in Caribbean Island Bahamas, he played a vital role in the opening over 1,000 rooms property to much acclaim.
Before his current appointment, Schneider was appointed as Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency Bellevue in Washington, where he achieved great success by developing a strong culture and focus in order to surpass the 70% NPS mark. During his whole career, Schneider has gained huge experience in food & beverage, engineering, finance sales and marketing and spa.
